Frankfurt am Main, June 15, 2026 – Growing geopolitical tensions, export restrictions, and increasing competition for critical raw materials are forcing industrial supply chains to adapt. At the E-Waste World Conference & Expo in Frankfurt, TRADIUM will present how Refining can complement traditional sourcing strategies and contribute to a more resilient raw material supply. Rethinking raw material supply

The exhibition marks an important step in TRADIUM's efforts to expand its activities around refining and secondary raw materials. Building on its long-standing expertise in strategic metals, the company is developing new ways to connect industrial demand with available material sources beyond traditional primary production. Current areas of focus include selected Rare earths, Minor metals such as gallium and germanium and Platinum group metals.
Germanium in focus: TRADIUM expert to speak at conference
As part of the conference program, Dr. Christian Hell, Senior Manager Germanium and Minor Metals at TRADIUM, will give the presentation "Germanium under Pressure: How Geopolitics and CRM Nationalism Challenge Recycling Pathways."
