At the biennial specialist event, issues relating to resource procurement and supply stability are discussed. TRADIUM actively participates in the discourse as a partner and exhibitor.
Frankfurt am Main, 07.11.2025 - TRADIUM is an official partner of the 8th Raw Materials Congress on 11 November 2024 in Berlin and will be represented with its own stand. The event, organised by the Federation of German Industries (BDI), will focus on the question of where Germany stands two years after the turnaround in raw materials security. In view of global challenges such as geopolitical conflicts and increasingly unstable supply chains, the procurement of resources for German industry is of central importance for politics and business.
Rare earths and technology metals: challenges and opportunities for security of supply
As a specialist for the supply of Rare earths, Technology metals such as gallium and germanium and Precious metals TRADIUM is an important point of contact for companies that process raw materials. However, the availability of materials is made more difficult by a number of factors: global trade volumes are often small, markets are volatile and dependence on imports from a few producing countries is particularly high. These conditions make securing supplies challenging and require a great deal of expertise and a strong network.
"The BDI Raw Materials Congress is an important platform for exchanging information on current developments in the industry and discussing the most pressing issues relating to the availability of materials," explains Matthias Rüth, founder and Managing Director of TRADIUM. "Our company brings over 25 years of experience in trading raw materials and has deep insights into the markets. We are looking forward to presenting our practical perspectives."
TRADIUM's experts will be on hand at the congress to discuss the key issue of securing raw materials. They will be sharing their expertise with visitors at their own stand.
