On 7 November 2025, the Tagesthemen showed a short film of three and a half minutes on the current situation on the market for rare earths. The film explains why these raw materials are indispensable for many industries and why the supply is currently particularly tight. A camera team also filmed in TRADIUM's high-security warehouse, where Managing Director Matthias Rüth categorised the situation from the perspective of a renowned raw materials supplier. Alongside experts from the Fraunhofer Institute, he provided an insight into the causes and effects of the ongoing shortage.
