TRADIUM in The Economist
On 13 August 2025, the British news magazine reported on China's dominance in rare earths and global efforts to reduce dependence on Beijing for raw materials. For the article The Economistjournalist Matthieu Favas also visited TRADIUM's high-security warehouse, where large quantities of the raw materials, which are currently in high demand but barely available on the market, are stored behind thick concrete walls. In the interview, TRADIUM founder Matthias Rüth warns of shortages of rare earths - companies would now buy them "at any price". The article is available online (Paywall).
